I noticed that too, I'm just too scared to mess with my blog while I have a giveaway running. I don't want to screw it all up!
If I change my blog to 3 columns will I need to find a new background? I love mine now but I don't think it will fit for a 3 column spread
WoW!
That is totally awesome! My blog is pretty simple but I did all the HTML myself and it was so time consuming. I have been wanting to 'spruce it up' a bit. I will definitely have to check this out!
Thanks! :)
thought i heard about this!!

getting back to you to say thanks for the follow!!

Hey, Mom vs. Boys. I looked over you blog background again. It was definately made to fit only a two column blog, so unless you don't mind your columns to be really small or to overlap over the sides of the background, changing to a 3 column blog would probably also mean changing backgrounds. Check out you background creators site. A log of designers make both 2 and 3 column backgrouds for each style. Maybe you could even request them to make a 3 column version for you. Good luck!
thanks for the heads up blogger chick! I had a go at this and irrevocably changed my blog before I knew what I was doing. It did not end badly but it took some fiddling. One issue I had was that the content in the middle column did not fit any more. Images ran over the sides for example. The width of the whole blog could not be expanded to make the content fit attractively into three columns. I suppose it will need to be done manually in the template code. Please post any tips you might have :) Also one cannot upload one's own background images etc. Perhaps when they roll out that functionality will be there.
thanks again!
Thanks! that's what I was afraid of, I love my background and I'm pretty sure it only comes in a 2 column version
Thanks for the tip, I'm gonna check it out. Thanks for stopping by peppertowne.com
I tried to use Blogger in Draft, but it made everything SO SLOW!! On of my readers said it took a full minute to load the first page, and I had to shut down my computer several times because it wouldn't open. Needless to say I went back to a Minima template and it works like a charm. It is unfortunate because I loved the new template and how easy it was to customize.
